January is favourable to the cultural trip to Guine, where a lot of teachers and masters offer music and dance courses for people from all over the world. Concerts and parties are listed, and you can enjoy the performance of the most renowned ballets and artists in the country.

The Africa Viva Institute, promotes trips to Guine, including percussion and dance workshops, lodging and meals.

2012 Schedule

Landing in Conakry. The group will be received at Gbessia International Airport

1st Two Weeks

ROUTINE:
6-day/week courses and sunday free time
Breakfast will be served at 8am
10am to 1pm percussion and dance classes

Lunch

4:30pm to 6:30pm percussion and dance classes

Dinner

WEEKENDS
Satursday
10am to 1pm percussion and dance classes
Free time afternoon
Evenings : Shows

Sundays

3rd Week

In the morning, trip to Sangbarala Village, with arrival in the next day.

Trip back to Conakry.

A trip to the Roume island, near to the Conakry coast. A nice opportunity to relax and to know the beach.

Our responsibilities are:

Airport Transfer on arrival and departure

Lodging and local courses - each room with two beds and mosquito nets 2

Traditional Food - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Travel to the village in Upper Guinea Sangbarala

The Dance and percussion courses cover all levels: Beginner, intermediate and advanced.

The responsibilities of the traveler:
1) Guinean Visas

2) Yellow fever vaccination and antimalarial prophylaxis - consult your doctor

3) Passport valid for six months, the Flight and luggage

4) Medical Care

NOTES
1) The Africa Viva Institute is not responsible for the aerial part of the journey and the medical care of the traveler. There are specialized plans, check with your travel agents

2) This schedule is subject to minor changes, adjusts to attend traditional parties, ballets, and groups that performs in the season.

Fanta Konate is building the Manden Cultural Center for Human Development in Guinea and this trip also support this wonderful project.
